Chemo #4 this week
Hello my dear friends and family,
I want to wish all of you a very Happy Easter as we celebrate our risen Lord!
I
am so glad to be home and feel very good. I need to rest every day,
but otherwise the Lord has blessed me with only that side effect from
chemo. When I returned home, I had received so many cards. I want to
thank everyone who sent cards to our home and to Az. They were so
uplifting, encouraging, and supportive. Thank you for praying for me
and for thinking of me. Also, thank you for all of the encouraging
emails and texts I have received. I am so blessed to be supported by so
many.
I will have round 4 of chemo next Thursday, April 9th.
Please pray that the chemo will continue to work on the cancer cells
and that I will glorify God in everything I say and do. God has been
good to help me through some anxiety that I have had and I am grateful
to Him for that.
I hope you have a very blessed Easter.
In His hand,
Sue

Beginning at KU Cancer Center
I met my new oncologist today. I like him and he was very
kind and did not rush me. He will continue the same treatment I have
been on, and if I am tolerating chemo, he will add round 5 and 6. That
is what Dr. Fidias in Az had said also. They do things a little
different from Az., but that will be ok.
Thank you for praying specifically for my appt today and
for all of your prayers during this journey. This was an exhausting
day! I am thanking God for my new medical team!
In His hand,
Sue

Welcome Home Sign
When I came home from the airport yesterday, I was greeted with a very neat sign in my yard. My good friend, Lora, set it out and had friends sign it before I came home. It was very thoughtful and such a wonderful greeting! Thanks Lora & friends!

Back in Kansas City!
Dear Family and Friends,
I made it home safely with Rylee. John, Carol, Molly and Macy were waiting to pick us up at the airport. Deanna and my other grandchildren made it home from Az. safely at the same time Rylee and I arrived in KC.
I am so thankful to be home and to be with my church family today. I am grateful to Pastor Tim and the elders of our church for praying over me and anointing me with oil as the scriptures instruct us to do if we are sick. Please thank God with me that He provides clear instruction in this area. Thank you to all my church family today for your encouragement, love, and warm smiles. It was very hard not to give each one of you a hug. I pray God will be glorified and honored as I take this journey with Him!
Thank you to ALL of my faithful warriors for praying for me today and every day.

Leaving Arizona
I'm leaving AZ today and headed back home finally! Gary will drive back to Kansas City in a week and we will store the mobile home in AZ for awhile. I will meet with my new oncologist in KC on Thursday. I'm happy that my oldest granddaughter was here to fly home with me.
