Today was my 3rd round of chemo and hopefully last one in AZ. Rylee was able to join me this round.

Scans look good!
Hello my faithful prayer warriors.
Praise God for some good news! My oncologist was thoughtful and texted me that my scans are good! That is all I know, but I wanted to share good news. Praise God for such a kind doctor and for the healing He has provided on my behalf. I see the doctor tomorrow at 8:30 am for details. Thank you for praying for me!
In His hand and with love,
Sue

Possible Infection
Hello my dear family and friends,
I wanted to praise God and share with you what He has done for me. I have felt very good and the only side effect from the chemo has been tiredness.
Yesterday the incision above my port became inflamed and I was worried about infection.. I called my nurse this am who in turn told my Dr. My Dr. gave me his cell phone and had me send him a picture of the incision. He asked me some questions and provided an antibiotic for me. This was such a comfort to me. He was very kind to help me in this way because it is an hour drive to get to his office.
Tomorrow I will have my CT scan and MRI in the afternoon. Please pray that the cancer is smaller and that the results in the brain will be good. Please also pray for me not to be anxious in the MRI machine. I will get the results from these tests on Wed. March 18th. Deanna and 5 grandchildren are driving to Az. tomorrow if you would also keep them in your prayers. Thank you for your prayers and support at this difficult time. I love you all for being there for me.
In His hand and lovingly,
Sue

Upcoming scans and hopefully KC
Hello, My dear prayer warriors,
Thank you again for
your prayers and words of support. My sister, Nancy, arrived last week
and it was so nice to see her. We had a wonderful visit. Deanna and 5
of my oldest grandchildren will come for a visit March 14th through the 19th. Praise God for her willingness to drive all of them here and please pray for safe travel for them.
I
am grateful that the Lord answered our prayers, and I did not have any
aches or pains in my bones at all after my shot that builds white blood
cells. I have felt good all week, just tired.
On March 13th, I will have a CT and MRI to evaluate my progress and reevaluate my treatment plan. I will see the oncologist on March 18th for the results of the tests and I have chemo on March 19th. Lord willing, I plan to fly home on March 21st and have my 4th round of chemo in KC.
Please
pray for good results from my tests, a good nurse who knows how to use
and clean a port, and for me not to be anxious. I am praying Phil
4:6-7. Praise God He never leaves us! May He be honored and glorified
as I walk through this trial.
In His hand and with love,
Sue

A surprise visit with Marta
A good friend of mine, Marta, was visiting a friend in Arizona really close to where I am so we were able to visit for a little while today. She was with a few friends of Kansas City. This is a funny picture, but because one of her friends was sick, I couldn't hug her. But I was so thankful to see her and catch up in person. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of my Kansas City friends soon when I get home.

Showing Nancy Arizona
I'm so thankful my younger sister Nancy could come to Arizona to visit me this week. She made it right when I was starting my second round of chemo. We were able to go to the mountains, go shopping, get my hair done, and visit my niece Sarah. It was such a refreshing time with her.
