I want to thank you again for your faithful support and prayers for me. I am blessed so abundantly and grateful to have you on this journey with me. I know all of you have prayed so much for me to be able to have molecular therapy, but it is not in God's plan at this time.
I have a form of cancer that is close to the right kind of cancer for this therapy, but there is a mutation in the cells. I have a cancer that only 1% of people with lung cancer have. Unfortunately, it does not respond to molecular therapy.
My blood count is high enough to have chemo tomorrow. On Friday, I will get a shot that will build up my white blood cells. The shot works on bone marrow and may make my bones hurt. Please pray I will not ache to much. Also, please pray for my chemo tomorrow and that my side effects will be minimal. My sister, Nancy, is coming to visit tomorrow for a long weekend. I would like to feel good when she is here.
It is good that I started chemo when I did. To God be the glory for giving His wisdom to my doctor. Praise God for medical help and God bless each of you.
In His hand. Lovingly,
Sue
